I came accross this trying to install a 7.0.3 client with a valid certificate et al. The valid certificate had been created months earlier on a 7.0.3 server and admin client
I got and "Entry not found in index" error upon attempted 7.0.3 client set up. Oddly enough I could install a Lotus 8.5 client even with the policy doc in it's errord state with the exact same certificate.
This error happened upon trying a 7.0.3 install on several different computers subsequently being succesful as an 8.5 Lotus install on the same user computers
